The studio comprises technical writers, illustrators, designers, animators, and translators who transform clients’ detailed technical documents into rich and powerful visual communications.

To support our growth Jincom is looking for a Content Director to manage the studio of 25 specialist writers, designers, illustrators & animators. Supported by the department heads for content, illustration, and design, ensure all creative deliverables are the highest possible quality and simplified as much as possible.

What you’ll do:

  • Direct our content and creative to deliver what our clients need.
  • Review key briefs and provide guidance to the creative teams on how to approach jobs.
  • Critically review all creative scripts, edits, and layouts to ensure our work is of the highest possible quality, technically correct, and highly simplified.
  • Develop new creative products and services.
  • Support the CEO and Client Service Director develop proposals and presentations in response to new client requests and RFQ’s.
  • Improve internal quality review processes.
  • Mentor our creative team.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in a relevant senior role like Creative Director, Content Officer or Editor.
  • Experience in direct management of creative teams.
  • Ability to translate complex content into simplified, logical, visual structures.
  • Not afraid of getting close to highly technical content.
  • Good people skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital systems and platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Being able to work to timelines and under pressure.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Forward thinker with an ability to see potential opportunities with our clients.
